National Popcorn Day

Y’all. I’m doing whole 30 and it is ROUGH. I’m craving everything – cheese, chocolate, french fries… It’s the pits. I’m currently salivating just thinking about popcorn. January 19 was national popcorn day and I teamed up with Hartley Social again to bring you some recipes. We made two versions of popcorn and both were quite tasty! Check em out below and please, someone, eat some popcorn for me!!

Lemon Parmesan Popcorn

Ingredients
  1. 6 cups popcorn
  2. ½ cup grated Parmesan
  3. zest of 1 Lemon
  4. salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Add popcorn to bowl
  2. Add Parmesan and lemon zest
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste
  4. Stir to combine

Chili Lime Popcorn

Ingredients
  1. 6 cups popcorn
  2. 1 teaspoon cayenne powder
  3. 1 lime
  4. 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
Instructions
  1. Add popcorn to bowl
  2. Combine melted coconut oil and cayenne powder and pour over popcorn
  3. Add juice of lime
  4. Stir to combine
  5. Garnish with lime zest
