Sunday Reading, V20

Wow, I can’t believe I’m on the 20th week of Sunday Reading! It’s crazy to think something I started as just an Instagram account, really just for fun, has grown into a blog that at least a few people read 😉 I had a few encouraging things happen on the blog this week. I had my first big partnership with a brand. Kroger reached out to me about trying their new Prep + Pared meal kits. It may seem trivial, but having a brand that I shop with every week see value in my work reaffirms what I do. I hope y’all see value in me working with brands that I think you will enjoy as well!

I also attended Harvest Lex, a food event put on by the Kentucky Restaurant Association. One of my coworkers organized the event and BHG represented all of our tasty restaurants. BHG also celebrated our 50th private selection barrel of Woodford Reserve this week. We are the first ever account to reach that many barrels! #Bourbonnnnnnnnn. I get to experience so many cool things because of my job and am so grateful for that.

High: Blog traffic this week was super high for me! I know numbers aren’t everything, but it’s nice to have some validation in what I’m doing. Thank you for reading this!!

Low: Ugh, the Cats. Such a sad loss. Tailgating was good though 😉

    • Thanks so much Chystina! It means so much to hear that. The shrimp boil was so fun and pretty easy – all you need is the boiling pots and we used Zatarans concentrate!
