Sunday Reading, V23

Hi friends! Sunday Reading is coming atcha from one exhausted girl. After a FULL work week, I headed to Knoxville on Friday to visit the Drake’s team for a UT game we sponsored. Then church, grocery shopping, laundry and trying to get my life into some kind of order today.

I did get to celebrate the launch of the Scout Guide Lexington‘s fourth edition this week, which I am a part of. Not only was it a great party, but still so cool to think that I am featured among such great local businesses and other bloggers.

Highs & Lows

High: I finally got to try Native Bagel in Berea and meet the owner Katie, who I’ve chatted with on Instagram a bit. It’s always cool to connect with people you’ve met online in real life, and even better when they’re awesome local business owners, and EVEN better when it’s over delicious bagels!

Low: A sweet coworker and friend was very sick this week. It looks like she’s on the mend now, but always hard to see someone close to you hurting.

Felt appropriate after I launched the Lexington Donut Guide this week. Seriously though, after a really crazy week I’m trying to focus on the positives and be thankful for all the opportunities that maybe make me a little bit stressed. Hope y’all have a great week!

Biscuits & blessings,

Leels
