Local Stocking Stuffer Guide

I’ve talked about it before.. stocking stuffers are my favorite! I have the most fun picking out little trinkets and yummy food. I shared a Stocking Stuffer Gift Guide last week, but wanted to share some of my favorite local finds for stockings as well. Most of these are things you can pick up locally, so don’t have to worry about Christmas shipping. Check out this post for my favorite shops in Lexington for more ideas. The best for stocking stuffers are probably The Amsden, Coffee Times, Greyline Station, Joseph Beth, The Mousetrap, Peggy’s, Street Scene, Stuarto’s, sQecial, World’s Apart, Pirie and The Barkery.

Bluegrass Hospitality Gift Card

My mom and Grammy always put gift cards in our stockings. Can’t go wrong with a BHG card and for every $100 in gift cards purchased you get a $20 certificate! It doesn’t have to all be on one card, so you could do a couple $25 cards for everyone’s stockings! You can also purchase e-gift cards and print at home.

Cole’s Steak Dust

Cole’s and Eppings are selling some of their signature items, like my favorite ‘steak dust’ from Cole’s! Plus chutney, fig jam, hot cocoa bombs and more. All available at Epping’s!

Double Barrel Honey

Double Barrel Honey

I shared Double Barrel Honey in my local gift guide, it’s a honey that’s been aged in Kentucky bourbon barrels. It’s available at several local retailers, check here.

La Petite Delicat Macaron

My favorite macarons and they make festive gingerbread versions as well!

The Bluegrass Barkery Treats

Because our dogs get stockings too.. we always get them cookies from The Barkery!

Stuarto’s Mini Olive Oil & Vinegar

We love Stuarto’s olive oil! They make mini bottles that are the perfect size for stockings and trying new flavors. I recommend the butter olive oil with maple vinegar. I also love the tuscan herb olive oil for bread. They also have different flavored sea salts, must try the bacon!

Old Kentucky Chocolate Covered Potato Chips

My very favorite treats!

Corey’s Kitchen Spices

I love Corey’s seasonings! I have included a couple of them in my gift baskets.

Weisenberger Mills Lemon Poppyseed Mix

This mix is so good! You can find it at Kroger, Liquor Barn and other local spots.

Lexington Brownie Bae

The most insane brownies! Made locally in Lexington with creative and holiday flavors.

Moka Jo from Coffee Times

This is my fav hot chocolate!

This stuff is so good! My fav flavor is the Rosemary Olive Oil with White Cheddar.

I love Jack Rudy products. They are such great quality and delicious! I love the sweet tea syrup, grenadine and tonic. They’re sold in several local retailers like the Keeneland Shop, Liquor Barn and Peggy’s.

Wisebird Mulled Cider Kit

Wisebird’s cider is so delicious. This cider kit would be a fun gift (or just to break out on Christmas day!

Piedmont Pennies Cheese Straws

Technically these are made in North Carolina, but the local shop Syers Browning sells them and they are so good! The best cheese straw I’ve ever had.
