Y’all know I love Wendy’s breakfast (where are my fellow Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit lovers?!) so I was so excited when they reached out to partner again and I got to try some new menu items. In addition to being delicious, Wendy’s is also so convenient. While we’ve been renovating our house convenience and easy meals have been key, so I am loving ordering on the Wendy’s app!
The Wendy’s app allows you to order ahead, order delivery, earn free food and you get app-exclusive offers. I did a mobile order for my most recent order and it was ready by the time I got there. You also earn points on every order. For every $1 spent you earn 10 points that can be traded in for free food within the Rewards Store on the app!
Okay now let’s get to the food! I sampled several items on my most recent trip (check out the video below.) Some highlights were the new Bacon, Egg and Cheese English Muffin made with a fresh-cracked egg, Applewood smoked bacon and American cheese on a toasted English muffin. I love that Wendy’s uses fresh-cracked eggs and you can taste the difference. There is also a new Breakfast Burrito available with bacon or sausage and fresh-cracked eggs, American cheese, seasoned potatoes and a creamy cheese sauce in a warm flour tortilla with Cholula® on the side. The potatoes add great flavor and it’s super filling! The last new item you must try is the Cinnabon Pull-Apart. Layers of warm buttery dough bites are baked with cinnamon sugar and topped with cream cheese icing. It’s ooey and gooey and so so good.
I can’t get Wendy’s breakfast and not get a Honey Buddy Chicken Biscuit. A crispy chicken filet topped with maple honey butter on a fluffy buttermilk biscuit. Sweet and savory and so good. I also love the Breakfast Baconator® with grilled sausage, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, a fresh-cracked grade egg, more cheese and more bacon all covered in Swiss cheese sauce. Talk about a breakfast sandwich! Some other favorites are the Sausage Egg and Swiss Croissant – a fresh-cracked egg, Applewood smoked bacon and a creamy swiss sauce on a flaky croissant bun. It’s a great combo of savory and sweet! You can get the breakfast sandwiches in a combo that includes seasoned potatoes and a small beverage.
