It’s been a while since I’ve done a good ol Amazon review! Sharing everything I bought the past few months and my reviews.
parihan Swimsuit Sarong Cover Up $19.95
I’ve never been a sarong person, but a friend was wearing them on our beach trip a few months ago and I realized I’m missing out! I picked up a few for the summer and a trip to Hilton Head coming up. I love this cute print and it comes in a few different patterns/colors.
Zando Short Sarong $11.99
I also picked up this short black sarong to have a more neutral option. It comes in several solid color options.
Hilor Women’s One Piece Crossover Swimsuit $30.59
And speaking of swim… I absolutely love this swimsuit! I love the way the bands cut at the waist and feel very comfortable in it. The quality is pretty good for the price, definitely won’t last years but I don’t need it to for $30!
Cupshe Women’s V Neck One Piece Swimsuit $26.90
I also picked up this Cupshe suit and really like it too. I really like that this one is ruched at the waist. It’s a bit cheekier and lower cut than I typically wear, so I probably won’t wear this one on family vacation 😉
NYX Bare With Me Concealer Serum $9.20
A blogger I love, Hannah of Looks and Merit, recommended this drugstore concealer and my usual go-to NARS was running out, so for $10 I figured I’d give it a shot. I’ve been impressed so far, it blends really well with a beauty blender and lasts all day long. Even in this crazy heat I haven’t had any creasing or anything.
Wet n Wild Mega Slicks Lip Gloss $2.19
Another beauty-blogger cheap recommendation.. Grace Atwood recommended this $2 gloss and I trust all her recs so had to try! It’s a great basic gloss, the Love Language shade is the perfect neutral.
Aloe Vera Color Change Mood Lipstick $6.66/six pack
Another random beauty purchase… this green aloe vera lipstick was recommended by Emma Golden. It adjusts to your body chemistry and goes on in a pink/mauve shade! It’s different on everyone. It’s a pretty bright pink on me. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t totally sure about the color at first, but got a lot of compliments when I wore it. It’s also very hydrating, feels like chapstick.
L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Lash Magnifying Mascara $8.75
Lots of beauty this month.. tbh I can’t remember what beauty blogger recommended this mascara but I had had it sitting in my cart for a while and needed new mascara so gave it a shot! I’m really liking it so far, good volumizing. I honestly can’t really tell a difference from the expensive Benefit mascara I’ve been using!
Plush Velvet Travel Jewelry Box Organizer $16.99
In an effort to streamline travel, I picked up this jewelry organizer and really like it. It’s small, so you can’t fit a ton of big pieces in it, but it’s worked for all the trips I’ve taken this year so far. I typically pack a few statement earrings, studs, bracelet or two and maybe a ring. The quality is great too, it looks much more expensive than it is.
Saucony Women’s Performance Heel Tab Athletic Socks $16.99/eight pairs
I needed new workout socks and these were highly rated. I absolutely love them! They are so comfy and have held up well since January.
Amazon Basics Expanding File Folder $7.88
I was cleaning out my bedside table that includes envelopes of business expense receipts, checks, paperwork etc. and immediately bought this expanding file folder. Easy to use, gets the job done, and cheap. Check, check, check.
Bazic 13 Pocket Coupon/Check Expanding File Organization $5
Apparently I’m really into file folders… but I got this mini one for my purse at the beginning of the year and it’s been life changing. I have to keep a bunch of receipts for my business expenses and try and keep things separate between the blog and gift baskets. I use this to organize receipts, checks and even coupons and things like that.
Baby Shower Boxes Party Decorations $14.44
I helped throw a baby shower for my sister in law a few months ago and these baby boxes were so cute! You can fill them with balloons or flowers.
Pure Protein Bars $15.49/12 pack
These are Dave’s favorite protein bars. I typically buy them at Kroger, but just figured out they’re cheaper on Amazon!
BioAdvanced Insecticide $9.50
A very specific need, but we got mites on our boxwood bushes this spring 🙁 Sadly we had to replace a few, but were able to save some with this spray. I’m going to use it once a month now to try and prevent anything in the future.
