New month, new edition of five fun things! Check out all the things I loved in February below.
What I’m Reading
So I didn’t do so good reading this month.. I thought these blog posts would keep my accountable, but the month got away from me. I did start a new devotional by Priscilla Shirer, Discerning the Voice of God, that I’m loving.
What I’m Loving
I returned something to Target and couldn’t stop myself from buying this Easter carrot wreath. I waited until March 1 to put it up, and it makes me so happy when I come home everyday. Sadly it’s out of stock currently, but this one is cute and still in stock. Related, do I need moss bunnies?! Also random, but these cauliflower stalks are my new favorite healthyish crunchy snack.
What I’m Listening To
Heather McMahan’s podcast about weather shamers had me in stiches. I recently started a new podcast, Becoming Us, by Moriah and Joel Smallbone I heard about on K Love radio. They are a married couple sharing their story and faith with commentary from a friend/spiritual mentor.
What I’m Watching
So random, but Dave and I are rewatching Entourage and I’m actually really loving it. It shouldn’t hold up, but it does for me. We also randomly rewatched the Elizabeth Holmes documentary, which is so fascinating. I started Firefly Lane on Netflix and got a few episodes in before I stopped.. has anyone finished it? Should I keep going??
Where I’m Giving
Like I’m sure many of you, I’m devastated by the recent flooding and destruction in Eastern Kentucky. I donated to The Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky’s flood relief fund because it seems like they are an organization who has been active in the community for a while, and have “boots on the ground”/a good way to make sure the money really goes to local people in need.
Biscuits & blessings,
Leels
