It’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale time! It’s Nordstrom’s annual sale when Fall items are discounted before they go back up to full price before the season. It gets a lot of hype and hate, honestly both rightfully so. I use the sale as a time to stock up on staples and designer items that rarely go on sale: jeans, leggings, boots, tennis shoes, and beauty. I’m not going to tell you you can’t live without any of these items, and I’m only sharing items that I already own or plan to purchase during the sale. Zella High Waist Studio Pocket Leggings $42.90
I discovered Zella leggings from the Nordstrom sale a couple years ago and have been obsessed with them ever since. They are great for working out as well as “athleisure”. I typically get a pair ever year and have had a pair for at least three year that are still in great condition. I love this version with the pocket on the side if you need to carry a house key or phone on a run/walk.

Another pair of Zellas I have and love, these are the perfect high-waisted legging.
Zella Body Fusion Sports Bra $22.90
I don’t own a Zella sports bra, but love their leggings so much am going to try one out this year. This one is medium support and supposed to be good for running, training and cardio.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings $64.90
I got these faux leather leggings from the sale last year and they became a staple for fall/winter. You can dress them up or down and I feel like they really elevated my “leggings and a cozy sweater” uniform ha! They also suck you in very well 😉
Spanx Perfect Black Pant $84.90
These perfect black pants are in my cart. The reviews say they feel like leggings, but look like work pants. Sold!
Barbour Waxed Jacket with Shearling Trim $299.90
Barbour jackets are an investment, but will last your lifetime. If you’ve been thinking about buying one, now’s a great time as they rarely go on sale. I love my waxed jacket, I don’t have this exact version but love the shearling trim! I also have one of their quilted vests (on sale here for $119.90) and love it for fall with a sweater.
Men’s Barbour Quilted Jacket $129.90
While we’re on Barbour, I couldn’t pass up the men’s jackets! Dave has one too and loves his. This quilted version is a steal at $130. There’s also a vest on sale for $119.90. Think of Christmas presents!
Madewell Transport Tote Stripe Embroidered $119.90
I’ve carried Madewell’s transport tote for years. They hold up really well to wear and tear (I had one as my everyday bag for 2+ years.) Love this version with the stripe! I also love this calf hair version.
Madewell High Rise Black Skinny Jeans $89.90
I loveee Madewell’s jeans. My favorite black jeans come from there and they have not faded in two years of weekly wear. Great high rise too.
Joe’s Charlie High Rise Skinny Jeans $99.90
Speaking of jeans, these Joe’s jeans are my alltime favorite jeans. They fit my curvier frame so well. I’ve been buying these same jeans for six years. They’re also available in another wash here.
Marc Fisher Pointed Toe Bootie $99.90
These booties are currently in my cart.. I have a very similar pair that I love the way they look, but are slightly too small and end up being uncomfortable to wear all day. So thinking I need to replace them. They’re available in several different colors of suede and leather.
2ct Cubic Zirconia Earrings $26.90
Okay I don’t have these earrings, but I have an identical pair from Stella & Dot that I wear all the time. These come with rave reviews from Things I Bought and Liked so I feel great about recommending them. Would also be a great gift!
Beautyblender Electric Feels Set $35
I use a beautyblender to apply concealer/foundation and love the way it evenly distributes product. This set comes with two sponges and a brush and cleaner. One sponge is usually $20, so for two sponges you’re already saving $5 and I actually need a sponge/makeup brush cleaner so this works out well.
Slip Pure Silk Queen Pillowcase Set $125
I’m on the fence about this one, because $60 for a pillowcase seems pretty silly, but I’ve heard amazing things about Slip pillowcases. They are supposed to be great for your skin and hair, anti-aging, help avoid creases and anti-bedhead. TBH I probably won’t buy for myself, but may ask my mom to get them for me for Christmas.
