Y’all. I can’t. Pickles in a blanket!! This one-handed appetizer is perfect for Super Bowl. It’s cheesy, has a little kick from the sweet chili sauce, and crunch from the pickle. You can find mini pickles at the grocery store, but if you prefer the taste of a good ol’ dill, just cut a dill pickle into about 1 1/2 in pieces. I love the flavor of sweet chili sauce, but these would also be delicious dipped in ranch.
Ingredients
- 2 tubes crescent roll dough
- 1 block cream cheese
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup bacon crumbles
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 32 mini pickles, or dill pickles sliced into 1 1/2 in pieces
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Add all ingredients except crescent rolls and pickles in a bowl and mix to combine
- Unroll crescent roll dough and slice each triangle in half
- Spread about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on a crescent roll piece, place a pickle on top of it and roll dough around the pickle and place on a lined baking sheet. I use these AmazonBasics Silicone Baking Mats ($13.99 for two). They are a game changer, no pan to clean up!
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling
- Serve with sweet chili sauce for dipping
