Hi friends!
Many of you may know I have followed the guidelines of T.R.I.M. Bootcamp off and on for the past few years. You can read about my pre-wedding fitness and nutrition routine here to learn a little bit more about it. I’m excited for today’s post, because Val, the creator of T.R.I.M., has shared all her favorite tools for at home workouts and to set up you up for success for T.R.I.M.!
Resistance Bands – Essential for T.R.I.M.
Val gives a couple options here:
Option 1: Booty Bands, Resistance Bands with Handles and Bionic Body Door Anchor
Option 2: Resistance Bands without Handles and Bionic Body Door Anchor (You can make the bands into booty bands if you need, this is the most cost efficient option)
Option 3: Resistance Band All in One Set (This package has everything included in one for $39.98 and makes the price per piece cheaper)
Free Weights -Essential for T.R.I.M.
So pretty much all weights are sold out online right now, but Walmart is the best place to get dumbbells. You should have a medium and heavy set. For light weights use canned beans.
Beginner: 8lb set and 12lb set *5lb are good for shoulders, but you can always use cans or resistance bands
Round Two: 8lb set, 15lb set and 20lb set
Kettlebells or one 30-35lb dumbbell and a way to do a 50-55lb dead lift
This grip turns a dumbbell into a kettlebell
Misc. Essential for T.R.I.M.
What’s in Val’s Home Gym, not essential, but great to build your own!
Advanced Resistance Band Training Set *Good for Round 2 and VIP
Fabric Booty Bands *Good for Round 2 and VIP
Barbell Padding (great for hip thrusts and back squats without hurting)
Adjustable Step (more affordable)
Adjustable Step (better brand)
