Beer + Bread.. it’s a no brainer, right?! I’m excited to partner with Yuengling to share this easy four ingredient recipe that has been handed down in my family. My family’s love language is definitely food – whether that’s the lemon icebox pie my Mimi makes every time she visits, the angel biscuits my mom makes at holidays that came from my great grandmother, or the Yorkshire pudding my dad makes on Christmas Eve just how his mom did. This bread recipe originated from my grandmother, and then my mom made it for us when I was growing up. After learning more about Yuengling I knew I had to try making this family recipe with their lager.

Yuengling is operated by its sixth generation of all women, four sisters, who have over 60 years of combined brewery experience. Yuengling Golden Pilsner was actually the creation of the four sisters. Jennifer, Wendy, Debbie and Sheryl Yuengling all grew up in the family business – the Yuenglings have brewed beer in Pottsville, PA since 1829 and are honored to call themselves “America’s Oldest Brewery.” As a strong woman raised by strong women, I think it’s so cool that they are leading the company as women, especially in such a male-dominated industry.

Yuengling is celebrating their 190th anniversary in 2019 with the release of limited-edition, 190th Yuengling Traditional Lager beer cans. Five commemorative cans pay tribute to the company’s enduring history, and the entrepreneurial spirit and relentless determination that has made them America’s Oldest Brewery. You can find a new collector’s’ item can design every month between January and April 2019. Pick one up to make this easy recipe below!

Could I possibly add cheese to this and if so any ideas on how much?

    • Hi Julia, that sounds delicious! I would try 1/2 a cup of shredded cheddar cheese and see how it looks.
