Sunday Reading V. 35

Happy SEC Championship Sunday, friends! I’m writing this while listening to the game, so I can’t say if I’m happy or sad yet… but GO CATS regardless. I had a pretty great week! A new team member started at work this week, so I spent a lot of my week training her. I’m excited to have help and a set of fresh eyes on our team. I also went to the release of Pivot Brewing’s Bourbon Barrel Aged Fincastle, which is a cider aged in bourbon barrels. 1. I love cider. 2. I love bourbon, but I don’t really drink liquor anymore because of my pancreas issues, so it was so nice to get the flavor of it in a cider.

a practice shot from my photography class

This weekend was laid back. Movie night and frozen pizza Friday night. I gave up takeout/delivery for lent and it’s only been hard on Friday nights! I miss you Donatos… I went to a Level Up photography class by Honey Heart Photography on Saturday. I’m trying to up my photography game for y’all, and this class was a good start. Afterwards I grabbed lunch at Minton’s, which was so tasty that I’m mad at myself for not checking it out earlier. I continued the trend and finally checked out School’s new location for dinner.

Highs & Lows

High: I have a cool work project going on for Pi Day raising money for Feeding America and so far the video has 30,000 views. Share it on Facebook here!

Low: It seems like it’s stopped raining, but I am just so over the cold. I’m in in a Spring state of mind and need the weather to catch up to me 😉

I’m obsessed with reading about people’s morning routines. What 16 successful people do in the morning.

As if I didn’t already want to be Chrissy Teigen, she brought an emotional support casserole on a flight.

gimme all the Target Hearth & Hand

I know I’m not the only one obsessed with Target/Joanna Gaine’s Hearth & Hand. I think I’m snagging this coral striped pitcher, this wooden serving bowl and these measuring cups. Also I don’t need a new doormat at all, but this one is only $12.99 and so cute.

Portugal was already on my bucket list, but even more so now that I know it majorly influenced Harry Potter.

Just a little reminder to not hold yourself back. Hope y’all have a great week! I’m headed to Bristol, TN, for a quick work trip tomorrow and then hopefully a lot of St. Patrick’s Day eats this week.

Biscuits & blessings,

Leels
