Sunday Reading V.37

Yooooo. Happy Sunday! Been a few week since we did one of these. I had a crazy few weeks between traveling to Miami and Vegas and then my birthday weekend and Easter. I still owe a huge thank you to everyone who made my birthday so special! Dave and my roommate and friends and family totally got me with a surprise party. I honestly did not see it coming one bit. My sister came in from Chicago and my best friend even flew in for Denver just for my birthday! I’m still shocked and so so thankful. It really reminded how many people I have in my life that love me and how grateful I am for each of them. I hope each of you reading this know that you are on that list! Thank you!

Brunch at Shakespeare

Anywho.. this week I got a bit back in the groove of things. I went to an event at Keeneland, which got me so excited for Spring meet! If only this weather would cooperate.. This weekend I went to a birthday dinner at Giuseppe’s and to a jazz brunch at Shakespeare & Co. Today was full of a little meal prep and recipe shooting for some tasty things coming your way soon.

Highs & Lows

High: My birthday celebrations oooooobviously.

Low: I know everyone is probably getting sick of people saying it, but I am so. over. the. cold.

Links I Love

For you La Croix peeps… caffeinated sparkling water exists (and it’s made in Louisville!)

Does anyone else eat sweet potatoes at least once a week? I’m digging these sweet potato recipes under 350 calories.

Finally settling the debate if frozen vegetables are as healthy as fresh.

My favorite baking blogger came out with a croissant recipe. I’m a little nervous about this one, but hoping my mom will try and share the love.

Healthy breakfasts under $2.

Whole Foods is having a two month long rosé sale. You’re welcome.

Does anyone actually use vegetable wash? What it is and the argument for why you should use it.

Williams-Sonoma is having a big sale! $50 off Vitamix blenders (my dream), 50% off Wusthof (the knives I have, so worth the investment) and take 20% off one item + free shipping.
