Y’all know I love to go out to dinner, and Dave and my go to for date night is usually a dinner out. But sometimes it’s nice to mix things up, so I’m excited to team up with LaRosa’s to share ten at home date night ideas! I’ve been working with LaRosa’s for the past two years and I love their value, convenience, variety, and of course delicious food 🙂 LaRosa’s has been serving Italian family favorites for over 65 years. They’re known for their pizza, but also serve calzones, hoagys, pasta, salads and more. You can enjoy LaRosa’s dine-in, carry-out and delivery. Ordering is simple and available online, through their app or via phone. I use the app and love that they have coupons and deals on there too! You can also join the MyLaRosa’s Rewards Program to get rewarded for ordering and receive special deals and offers.
Now let’s talk about the food. LaRosa’s offers specialty pizzas (Buddy’s Deluxe and Hawaiian are my fav) as well as build your own. You can choose between Traditional Thin, Hand Tossed or Crispy Pan crust – I love the pan! Select locations, including Lexington, also have a gluten free cauliflower crust that is so good. I can’t order LaRosa’s without getting their Rondos. They’re oven-baked blossoms of pizza dough brushed with garlic-pesto sauce and stuffed with provolone cheese and your choice of pepperoni or spinach. Dave and I are seriously obsessed with the pepperoni. I also love their calzones and the Royal Hoagy. There’s something for everyone on the menu!
It seems like life has only gotten more hectic lately. Sometimes making it out of the house for date night is too hard, but that doesn’t mean you can’t spend quality time together. I’ve put together ten at home date night ideas that would all pair perfectly with some LaRosa’s pizza.. and Rondos 😉
At Home Date Night Ideas
- This one is a no brainer, pizza and movie night!
- Do a puzzle together.
- Spread out some blankets, grab a bottle of wine and have a pizza picnic in the backyard.
- Play 20 Questions. Lots of ideas here.
- Okay this one is technically not at home, but doesn’t involve you going in public so I’m counting it! Grab LaRosa’s carry-out and go on a country drive.
- Have a ‘spa night’ with at home treatments and face masks. Make spa water, or spa-inspired cocktails to go with your pizza.
- Do a workout video together.
- Have a wine or bourbon tasting. Ask a salesperson to recommend a few different bottles and then do a blind tasting with your partner over pizza.
- Make a bucket list of things you want to do or see in the next ten years.
- Play your favorite board game from childhood.
