Summer Entertaining with Gordmans

Can y’all believe it’s July?! Summer has flown by. Dave and I have been very busy between prepping for the wedding (less than 30 days to go!) and buying a house. We are having the best time decorating and getting settled in the new house, but let me tell you, it can get expensive! Which is why I’m so excited to partner with Gordmans to share three ways you can spruce up your outdoor decor for summer entertaining on a budget.

Gordmans is an off-price retailer, which means they buy excess inventory from department and specialty stores, then sell it at a significantly reduced price. AKA you can score great deals on designer and name brand fashion and home decor. I picked up a few items for my honeymoon in addition to all the decor you see pictured here. How cute is the lemon centerpiece?! I have been obsessed with lemons recently and am incorporating them into our home wherever I can. Gordmans is your one-stop-shop for all your summer needs, from fashion, to home and decor products for summer entertaining.

Since we don’t have the budget for new patio furniture, Dave and I wanted to do a little spruce using the furniture we already had before having friends over to our new place. I found so much great stuff at Gordmans, so thought I would share three simple ways you can update your patio decor for summer entertaining on a budget!

1. Switch out your pillows

This is an easy one that makes a big impact. I found these teal seat cushions for $14.99 each at Gordmans that dress up an old set of chairs. We also added fun palm leaf print pillows that were $9.99 from Gordmans. Swapping your pillows is an affordable way to try out a trend without having to buy all new decor.

2. Add place mats

Another super simple addition. I found a four pack of navy place mats with white detailed trim for $3 at Gordmans! Crazy, right? Place mats add a special feeling to your table for your guests. I love the idea of switching place mats for themed parties too.

3. Use a tray for style + function

I have trays all over my house! I feel like they are stylish while also making the junk sitting on your coffee table look organized 😉 I love a tray for entertaining, because not only is it cute, but also so useful! Use it to carry condiments, utensils and napkins outside. I picked up this metal and rope tray for $14.99 that matches a lantern we also got at Gordmans.

We hope to share more of our house with y’all soon. In the meantime, I’ll be making a few more trips to Gordmans and hope you’ll join me! Visit their site here to find a location near you. Happy shopping!

Biscuits & blessings,

Leels
