Air Fryer Orange Shrimp & Broccoli

Do y’all have an air fryer? We’ve had one for a few years, and to be honest, did not give it the credit it deserved at first. I’ve started using it much more in the past year, and now it has a dedicated spot on the kitchen counter 😉 It’s great for cooking frozen foods, like my fav Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp, as well as veggies. I’m excited to team up with Gorton’s to share an easy recipe for Air Fryer Orange Shrimp & Broccoli. The shrimp and broccoli cook in the air fryer while you whip up the delicious sauce. It’s just as good or better than take-out and a simple way to add more seafood to your diet! Check out the recipe below.

Air Fryer Orange Shrimp & Broccoli, serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Gorton’s Popcorn Shrimp
  • 1 large or 2 small heads broccoli
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder

Directions

  1. Toss broccoli crowns with olive oil, salt and pepper. Add to air fryer basket and air fry for 6 minutes at 400.
  2. Remove broccoli from air fryer and add frozen shrimp. Air fry for 13 minutes at 400, stopping half way through to shake the basket.
  3. Make sauce by whisking together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sriracha and cornstarch. Heat over low heat for 10-15 minutes, whisking occasionally until sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
  4. Toss shrimp in about half the sauce to start. Add broccoli and toss to combine.
  5. Serve with rice and the remaining sauce to dip or drizzle on top.
